XS-8320 Polyol / XS-H4532 Isocyanate is an MDI water blown polyurethane system, ideal for cold moulding of flexible foams with a final density between 45 and 65 kg/m³.
The system does not contain halogens or additional flame retardants. The system passes the UN Regulation No. 118. Rev.3 fire test (Annex 6-7-8). The system is particularly suitable for the production of flexible foams that can be used for furniture and transportation items (parts of different sizes with and without inserts).
| Property | Unit | XS-8320 Polyol | XS-H4532 Isocyanate | Test Method |
| Viscosity | mPa·s | 1390 (25°C) | 65 (25°C) | ASTM D 445 |
| Specific Gravity | g/cc | 1.03 (25°C) | 1.20 (25°C) | ASTM D 891 |
These are typical values and should not be construed as specifications.
Polyol ingredients may separate into different layers, therefore each container must be properly mixed before use. Although isocyanate component is a stable liquid at 15°C, it does crystallize below this temperature. The recommended technique for melting crystallized material is drum heating at 60-70°C for no more than 24 hours. Molds must be treated with a proper release agent.
