Polyether Polyol XS-6305C
XS-6305C polyol is a conventional rigid polyether polyol initiated with sorbitol.
Foams based on the polyol have good physical properties.
| Appearance | Light yellow viscous liquid |
| Colour GD | ≤3 |
| Hydroxyl number (mgKOH/g) | 500±20 |
| Acid value (mgKOH/g) | ≤0.15 |
| Water (%) | ≤0.1 |
| ∑(K+Na+) (ppm) | ≤50 |
| Viscosity at 25℃ (mPa.s) | 5800±400 |
XS-6305C polyol is used to produce conventional rigid foams,
such as refrigerators, cold cabinets and sandwich panels.
XS-6305C polyol is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb moisture,
which would affect the properties of the products. The polyol should be stored
in sealed containers and in dry conditions, away from direct sources of heat.
Polyol is supplied in drums and tank trucks; or confer with supplier.
XS-6305C polyol has a very low odor of acute toxicity and does not
present a significant health hazard to users. Normal standards of industrial hygiene
should however be observed when handling this chemical. Suitable protective clothing
and eye protection must be worn to avoid unnecessary contacts and accidental ingestion.
In case of eye contact, seek medical attention.
XS-6305C polyol will burn under certain conditions and can explode
if heated to decomposition temperature in a confined area. Polyol fires can be
extinguished with water fog, carbon dioxide or dry chemicals.
